Our class has two gardens outside the classroom. We planted flowers in each garden. The children planted the flowers and help with the weeding. Here in Bakersfield we can grow things during the winter but next February we can replant in preparation for the spring.
I plan on planting tulip bulbs before December so we will have a surprise this spring. Parents are welcome to help us in the garden. See Mr. Albrecht for details.
