Below you will find links for your child's math and reading curriculum. This is an excellent way for you to see exactly what they are learning and what is coming in the future. These links give tips for parents and also provide additional practice at home. I hope you find them useful :)
READING
The reading series we use is Houghton Mifflin
Our reading theme for the next few weeks is Off To Adventure. We are learning about subject and predicate, alphabetizing, and short vowel sounds. Our focus for reading and writing is summarizing, or retelling the story. Ask your child to summarize their day at school, or a TV show or movie you they have seen.
MATH

To access your mathbook online click on this link and then choose ebook.
We are adding and subtracting 4 digit numbers with regrouping. Children often forget to regroup and add a 1 to the next column. Please check their homework to see if they are regrouping.
