Science Fair Judge's Questions
The following are questions that a Science Fair Judge might ask each participant:
- Tell me about your project.
- What was your conclusion?
- How did you come up with your idea?
- What did you learn?
- What resources did you use in preparing this presentation?
- How can you use this year's project to make a project next year?
- If you repeated the experiment would the results come out the same?
- How did you determine your controls (variables)? OR in your
experiment, what was the control? OR What are some of the things you
were careful not to let change as you did the experiment?
- What procedures did you follow? OR How did you conduct your experiment?
- Were any of your results unexpected?
- What background research did you do for your project? OR Do you want to continue work in this area?
- What data do you have to back up your conclusion?
- What practical applications or future use does your work have?
